The former vice president of Ghana under the Mahama administration from 6th August, 2012 to 7th January 2017; Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur has passed away this morning as indicated in our previous post.
Amissah Arthur was nominated by President Mahama to be his vice president a week after Mahama was sworn in; following the death of Prof.Evans John Atta Mills on July 24 2012.
Reports circulating indicates that, the former vice president collapsed at the Air Force Gym on Friday, June 29. He was then rushed to the 37 Military Hospital where he finally gave up the ghost.
Paa kwesi Amissah Arthur was born on 29th April 1951. He was an economists, he was the governor of Bank of Ghana until he decided to persue his political ambition, becoming the sixth vice president of the Republic of Ghana.
Paa kwesi Amissah Arthur lived for 67 years.
