The dancehall Zylofon signed artist, Charles Nii Armah, known in the music industry as Shatta Wale in an interview with Happy FM, revealed that he visited many mallams in the past to get hit songs.
He revealed that, though he visited the mallams, but they failed to deliver.
He added that, he believed in God alright, but most people you meet keeps influencing you that, you can’t make it with only God; you need to visit places.
He recalled a place he went with Joint 77 saying what they saw was so scary; and the militant member (Joint 77) was scared to death.
The SM boss said, he has lost hope in these mallams.
“If a mallam could influence my fame like the other acts would have done that also. Every man that I visited will come and tell you that Shatta visited but I could not deliver the things he requested from me. I’m that strong spiritually and if you are not able to do what I want, I stop visiting you”.
“With what I see now, I don’t believe any artiste has gone for a song from a mallam. It’s just that sometimes people use wrong ways to achieve things,” Shatta added.
